Jonathan Phillips is Founder, a Managing Director, and a Partner at Healthcare Growth Partners. He has served as Managing Director since he founded HGP in 2005, where he focuses on strategic and transaction advisory services. Since founding HGP, Jon has completed over thirty transactions and completed strategy engagements for over thirty clients. Throughout his career, Jon has provided strategic and financial advisory services to over a hundred clients across various sectors within the healthcare industry including representing clients in mergers and acquisitions and equity financing transactions with an aggregate value of over $2 billion.
Prior to founding Healthcare Growth Partners, Jon was a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at William Blair and Company, where he provided financial advisory services to healthcare growth companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings and private placements. Prior to William Blair, Jon served in various roles in the healthcare practice of Deloitte Consulting for more than five years where he provided strategic consulting to healthcare providers and other organizations.
Additionally, Jon is Chairman of Streamline Health (Nasdaq: STRM), the Vice Chair of Kickoff for Kids, and serves on the Board of the Ray Graham Association. He holds an undergraduate degree in economics from DePauw University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
