Jason Baker is a Managing Director of Healthcare Growth Partners. Jason joined HGP in 2007 and focuses on strategic and transaction advisory services.
Prior to joining HGP, Jason was the head of corporate development for Cerner Corporation for over five years. Cerner is among the largest healthcare information technology firms, with well over $1 billion in revenue. Jason was responsible for identifying, executing, integrating and monitoring acquisitions, strategic investments and partnerships across a wide spectrum of the healthcare information technology industry. While at Cerner, he reviewed hundreds of opportunities and completed twelve strategic transactions plus many additional partnerships. Prior to Cerner, Jason was a member of the investment banking division of George K. Baum & Company and was the leader of the healthcare practice. Here he provided investment banking services, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements, to companies in the healthcare information technology, healthcare services and medical devices sectors. Prior to Baum, Jason developed and implemented systems for Andersen Consulting.
Jason has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
